Welcome to Cook with Rekha Family, a place where food, culture, and family come together. Since 2017, we have been inviting travelers from around the world into our home in Udaipur to experience the joy of Indian cooking. What began as Rekha’s personal hobby has now grown into a warm family experience that blends delicious food with meaningful connections.
Rekha, who holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Udaipur, is deeply passionate about cooking and sharing the richness of Indian traditions. Being a true local of Udaipur, she brings the authentic flavors of Rajasthan into her kitchen, teaching guests not only recipes but also the stories and traditions behind them. Alongside her husband Akhilesh, she ensures that every guest feels at home—enjoying laughter, conversations, and the comfort of homemade meals.
Beyond cooking, Rekha is also an art enthusiast. Together with her husband and father-in-law—who has been a respected Rajasthani miniature artist since 1995—she is learning the intricate techniques of this centuries-old art form. The family also offers offline miniature art classes, giving guests an opportunity to explore Rajasthan’s cultural heritage in a hands-on way.
